What happened when the Vikings invaded Lindisfarne?

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to be part of the Viking invasion of Lindisfarne? 

We used primary resources to try to develop an understanding of this terrible event. 

As we wrote our newspaper reports, we tried to empathise with the people involved.
