Valentines, Rockets and New Resources
Thank you to everyone who supported our recent cake sale. You helped raise a huge sum of money which has been able to help us purchase new toy cars and small world resources, upgrade the water try and revamp the garden with new storage and resources.
We also have to say a huge thanks to Mrs Williams, our PE teacher, who has helped us source new balance bikes, balls and goals to support children's physical development. The balance bikes have been thoroughly enjoyed, especially today at our 'Cycle Test Centre' we set up in the garden!
The morning class have enjoyed building rockets and space centres this week, inspired by Nelson and his moon creation. They have been thinking about different construction mediums, using the blocks as well as the Atelier and how they can be used for different purposes. The afternoon children have been preparing for their holidays, building a campervan in the contruction area, packing their suitcases and designing holiday outfits.
Lots of children were interested in Valentine's Day and decided to make cards. We considered what 'love' means and thought about why we love our family and friends. We hope you liked your card if your child made you one!
We hope you all have a lovely half term break!
