Sports Day

Once again, Year 6 demonstrated their leadership skills, this time as Team Captains on Sports Day.  Every one of them supported the younger children in their teams, encouraged them during the carousel of activities and ensured that everything ran like clockwork as they guided their teams from one station to the next.  They then set up all of the obstacle races, organising the equipment quickly and efficiently.  At the end of the afternoon, they even had energy left for the relays and the endurance race.  Congratulations to all of you!  Finally, our Phoenix and Apollo House Captains proudly lifted the trophy - the first time there has ever been a dead heat at St Andrew's Sports Day.
