Mapping in Reception

Lots of children in Reception have been enjoying playing with the trains and vehicles in our Construction Corner. Last week, we covered our floor with big pieces of sugar paper and children got busy with marker pens creating their own road and railway maps. The children showed a great knowledge of the world around them. Their maps included: helipads, junction boxes, traffic lights, bus stops and even fish and chip shops!
