Fun with circuits

In Science this week, the children have been learning about circuits. We started by creating a human circuit to explore how electricity can flow, and what happens when the flow of electricity is broken.

I then challenged the children to build a working circuit with very little guidance. Most groups quickly realised that all the components needed to be connected, but some found it tricky to attach the wires to the correct parts of the bulb or battery. With perseverance – and a few extra batteries – everyone was able to make a working circuit!
