First Day Boxes

Over the last two weeks, year 5 have settled very well into their new routines. 

One our very first day we created our first day boxes. Within these we tried to capture those unique feelings of both excitement and apprehension  of entering a new class. 

We began by decorating the outsides with the things that interest us at the moment - our favourite books games and hobbies. 

Inside we wrote about our hopes and dreams for the coming year. In addition we added a piece of string to show how tall are at the moment and photograph of ourselves. 

We will not open them again until the very last day of year 5.
