Barnes Children's Literature Festival

Good afternoon Nursery :)

I just wanted to let you know about something exciting that is happening 'virtually' next week... From 9th-14th June, Barnes Children's Literature Festival will be hosting it's annual bookish adventures online! Due to the current circumstances, last month's festival had to be postponed - until they found a way to bring it to us all online - "Hurray! Now we can all go!" 

This book festival has such a lovely atmosphere and the line-up is filled with some incredibly talented authors and illustrators, both 'up-and-coming' and 'absolutely legendary'... Last year, I got to meet Michael Rosen! What a marvel he is. Hopefully through their website or via their youtube channel (named 'Barnes Children's Literature Festival'), you'll find something that enthuses your passion for brilliant books. You might discover your new favourite story/ poem/ author/ illustrator/ interesting fact?
