A super start!

In Year 2 we have all been very busy settling into our new routines together. The children have all made a super start!

In Science we have embraced the natural world by exploring which micro-habitats exist right here in our school environment. The children loved this hands-on learning and thought carefully about why creatures would have chosen certain areas to live in.

They found lots of small creatures including ladybirds and their larvae, caterpillars and spiders.

We discussed being Science Detectives whilst out and about in nature and have set up a space in our science area of the classroom to share our discoveries!
