Spiders

Our focus this week has been spiders! We used charcoal to draw spiders, focusing on making an anticlockwise circle for the body and straight lines for legs. In the creative area, we used boxes to create minibeasts through junk modelling. In our literacy lessons, we have been considering what we know about spiders and deciding whether we would want a spider as a pet. We went on a spider hunt outside to see if we could identify where they live, and we used a magnifying pot to have a closer look at them before setting them free!
