Repeating pattern caterpillars

This week, we had lots of creative activities with links to maths. We made caterpillar paintings by printing using tangerines and pears. Many children accepted the challenge of creating a repeating pattern caterpillar, which links to our current maths topic. On the play dough table, we made spiders and carefully counted 8 pipe cleaners for the legs. On the piazza, we played a game where we rolled giant dice and put that number of spots on a ladybird template.
