Billy's Bucket

Our final CLPE (Centre for Literacy in Primary Education) text of the year is Billy's Bucket! We started the week by finding a wrapped up birthday present in the classroom with a label that said 'To Billy'. We opened it and found a bucket! What a strange birthday present! The children discussed whether they would like a bucket as a birthday present, with all the children agreeing that it would be a nice thing to receive because they could put shells, sand, fish and water in it and take it to the beach.
