Children from Year 3 and Year 4 apply for this position and are in post for two years. They have the responsibility to plan and deliver our Collective worship. They meet with the Head once a term to plan assemblies and co-ordinate with outside agencies if necessary. They also have responsibility to evaluate their assemblies with children throughout the school.
“When two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there."
After Jesus returned to heaven, His friends gathered in a room to wait for the promised gift of His Spirit. Their encounter with God, recorded in Acts 2, was the first fundamental step towards birthing the Church and transforming the world. Full of God and fuelled by prayer the disciples proved contagious as they spread the word of Jesus across the world.
The Worship Rangers would like to hold some special events to help children develop their spirituality by having time for reflection and prayer.
They would also like to host a Worship Jamboree, inviting other worship leaders to share dynamic ways to pray.
This term they have been focusing on Lent. All the children in the school have written a Lenten promise and placed it in the entrance.
