St Andrew's C of E (VA) Primary

"Enrichment is the enhancement of the life of a child during their time at school.  The purpose of Enrichment is to improve the experiences of the learning process."

One afternoon a week, every child from Year 1-6 takes part in our Enrichment Curriculum. This is a very exciting addition to our school where the children are given opportunities to take part in activities which extend the curriculum.  Children work with specialist outside staff and school staff on a range of activities which develop them in various areas.

Activities for 2016/17 are:

Tuesdays – Years 4, 5, & 6

Drama,  Cookery/Clay, Computer Skills, Sport, Country Dancing and STEM.

Thursdays – Years 1, 2, & 3

Drama, Sports skills, Forest Schools, Cookery/Textiles, Yoga/Clay and Circuit Training.

Below, a couple of images from the Clay group on the theme of friendship.  The people are not yet dry or fired. Mrs Deeks would just like to say how well the children did with this challenging work.
